Miss Foreign Co was established in 2018. The company started out with offering strip lashes, but for the past few years we have upgraded to lash extensions. We offer a great quality service that will surely make your appointment with us worth it. We want to offer a luxurious lash experience to every lady out there to give them a better, bolder, and sexier look. We also offer lash trainings, whether group training or private training. Our lash trainings aim to enhance the skills and knowledge of future lash artists who want to learn the ins & outs of the industry & also have the desire to be their own boss.
THE CEO OF MISS FOREIGN CO
Shantinay Stewart is a 29-year-old lash boss from Poughkeepsie NY. She loves spending time with her family outside of running Miss Foreign Co. She got into the beauty industry when she was still a teenager, and she had the opportunity to go to trade school for cosmetology half the day and then complete her high school courses the other half of the day. She graduated high school and at the same time, graduated on cosmetology school.
She worked as an assistant in a high-end hair salon and shortly after that, she got into the health care field for a few years. In 2018, she decided to get to back to the beauty industry where she started her business, Miss Foreign Lash Co. and she provided several different styles of mink lashes. From dramatic to not so dramatic to natural strip lashes.
She launched her business in August 2018 and it’s been going strong ever since. In January 2019, she decided that she wanted to do more so, she took a training to learn eyelash extensions. She practiced so much and took the time to learn more about the industry. In 2020, Shantinay decided to do a revamp on the brand and changed the business name to Miss Foreign Co. She decided to get rid of the “lash” part because she knew that at some point, she’d be offering more services other than lashes.
In October 2020, she got certified at a Ombré powdered microshading stylist.
From the end of 2020 up to now, she was able to train about 15-20 girls to become lash artists! The business is expanding, and the team is growing.
Her message to the aspiring lash bosses, “If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!”
